The River Rock Electrology Institute Grant and Financial Aid Information--Available for courses of 450 hours or more
The Institute offers a variety of specialty grants (grants are scholarship awards that you do not have to repay) to eligible applicants.
You may apply for any and all grant programs you think you may be qualified for. Applications for grants are submitted WITH your application to the Institute and any supporting documents required such as transcripts or copies of professional licenses.
THE RIPPLE EFFECT GRANT PROGRAM
The
Institute's Ripple Effect Professional Pool Renewal Grant program was developed
to help to replenish the pool of professional electrologists by offering tuition
assistance to individuals who will be working in an existing
electrology practice or replacing another electrologist who is leaving the
profession for reasons such as retirement. We are pleased to assist those who
are already helping to grow the profession add to their staff and those who are
leaving the profession to continue to share the amazing effects of electrolysis
to the public by assisting those applicants in achieving their personal goals
and earning an electrology license. These grants can be up to $500.

THE BECKY WINTRONE MEMORIAL GRANT PROGRAM

The Becky Wintrone Memorial Grant program was developed to commemorate the life and electrology career of our colleague and friend, Becky Wintrone. Becky worked hard juggling the demands of family and children while returning to school as an adult to earn her electrolysis licensure. Becky owned Anticipation Electrolysis Clinic and worked at the Institute before her untimely passing after losing a long battle with cancer at age 36. This grant program is designed to assist other working mothers in achieving their personal and professional goals and earning their electrologist license. THE HILDEGARD HODGES MEMORIAL GRANT PROGRAM

The Hildegard Hodges Memorial Grant program was developed to assist current and former public and private Licensed or Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other medical professionals in achieving their goals and earning an electrology license. THE AUSTA B. CLARK
MEMORIAL GRANT PROGRAM
The Austa B. Clark Memorial Grant program was developed to assist current and former public and private school teachers in achieving their goals and earning an electrology license. These awards can be up to $5,000. Click here to access the Austa B. Clark Memorial Grant Program Application.
THE PATRIOT'S GRANT PROGRAM

If you are a military service person or dependent you may be eligible for the the River Rock Institute Patriots Grant Program. Grants can be up to $2,000 and never need to be repaid as they are scholarship awards.
The River Rock Electrology Institute General Information

325 Hour, 450 Hour, 600 Hour, or Custom Designed Electrologist & Instructor Training Course Information
Please note each state requires its own specific number of hours and subjects. Please contact your state's regulatory body to learn more about their unique requirements.
For example Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan residents planning to practice in their home states may choose between the 450 and 600 hour programs. Illinois and Montana residents must complete the 600 hour program. Arizona, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Washington and residents have no state requirements and may choose any program.
